Screen Acting Workshop

This 2 day acting workshop is designed especially for young people. If your child loves drama and visual arts, this specially designed course is perfect for them. They will develop the key techniques for acting and how to apply them in front of the camera.
They will have the opportunity to get taught by an industry professional director and experience a professionally run studio in a safe, nurturing environment. 

Day 1; Students explore the difference between stage and screen acting techniques, learn about improvisation, script analyst, character development and how to take direction.
Day2; Individual character development, rehearsals and shoot a short scene or monologue with a profesional crew and equipment.

Copies of shot scenes or monologue footage supplied to parents, and uploaded to our YouTube account.
Students with previous acting experience will be catered for with more challenging material.

All staff hold a valid WWC Working With Children Card.
